| Colonna nel fosso di Cavoli sopra strada. …e una colonna intera, bellissima, enorme, forse scivolata durante il trasporto al mare e appiccicatasi a uno sperone di roccia, e lì abbandonata perché era più semplice e meno costoso farne una nuova che cercare di levarla… |

Säule im Graben von Cavoli, oberhalb der Straße ... und eine vollständige Säule, wunderschön, riesengroß, die sich vielleicht während des Rutschtransportes Richtung Meer an einem Felsvorsprung verfangen hat, sie wurde dort liegen gelassen weil es einfacher und preisgünstiger war eine neue herzustellen, als zu versuchen diese zu befreien... Column in the pit of Cavoli over the road …it’s one entire column, beautifulst, enormous, perhaps slide during the transport to the sea and stuck to one cliff spur, and abandoned there because it was simpler and less expensive to make of one new of that than to try of leeve it… |
