| Il faro di Forte Stella si trova al vertice nord-orientale ed è tra i più maestosi che si trovano nel Mediterraneo. Fu costruito dai Lorena nel 1788 per poter segnalare la presenza del promontorio antistante al porto nelle ore notturne. |

| Der Leuchtturm von Portoferraio befindet sich an der nord-östlichen Spitze des Forte Stella und gehört zu den beeindruckendsten Leuchttürmen des Mittelmeerraumes. Es wurde im Jahre 1788 von den Lorenas gebaut, um die Anwesenheit des Kaps vor dem Hafen bei Nacht zu signalisieren. |

| The lighthouse of Portoferraio is located on the north-east top of Forte Stella and is among the most impressive found in the Mediterranean. It was built in 1788 by Lorraine in order to indicate the presence of the cape in front of the harbor at night. |
