Foto: Piramo Gorini	Questa fortezza pisana risalente all'XI secolo venne edificata sui ruderi di un'acropoli etrusca. Arroccata su una rupe di 380 metri di altezza domina la baia di Portoferraio.Si raggiunge percorrendo la strada che collega Rio nell'Elba a Magazzini.
	Diese Pisanische Festung aus dem XI Jahrh., wurde auf den Ruinen einer etruskischen Akropolis erbaut. Auf ihrem 380 m hohen Felsen beherrscht sie die Bucht von Portoferraio. Man erreicht die Festung wenn man die Verbindungsstrasse zwischen Rio nell'Elba und Magazzini nimmt.
