Uno delle spiaggie più belle dell'isola d'Elba, la Biodola una spiaggia di sabbia dorata, lunga 600 metri. Esposta a venti di nord ovest, protetta invece dai venti da sud, ha alle spalle un fitto bosco ceduo e macchia mediterranea. Vi si trovano molte ed importanti strutture turistiche: alberghi prestigiosi, residences, ristoranti, bar, luoghi di intrattenimento e impianti balneari. La spiaggia dista 8 chilometri da Portoferraio, la si raggiunge per mezzo di una ampia strada asfaltata, vi è un servizio di autobus pubblici dal capoluogo ed è dotata di un buon numero di posti per la sosta delle auto, sebbene in agosto si incontrino difficoltà nel trovare parcheggio.
