Sulla destra della Piazza della Repubblica spalle al mare è situato il Duomo costruito nel 1549 e successivamente ampliato nel 1623, 1700 e 1950. All'interno l'altare di marmo, che originariamente apparteneva alla Chiesa del Carmine, che fu fatto costruita nel 1616 e successivamente trasformata, per volere di Napoleone in Teatro dei Fortunati (oggi "dei Vigilanti").

Rechts von der Piazza della Repubblica, mit dem Rücken zum Meer stehend, befindet sich der 1549 erbaute Dom, der dann in der Folge 1623, 1700 und 1950 erweitert wurde. Im Inneren ein Altar aus armor, der einst in der Kirche del Carmine stand, die im Jahre 1616 erbaut wurde und später auf Befehl Napoleons umgebaut wurde zum Theater dei Fortunati (heute Theater dei Vigilanti).
