Santuario della Madonna delle Grazie

On the eastern hillside of Capoliveri rises the elegant sanctuary rises of the Madonna delle Grazie, inside of which are paintings attributed to the school of Raffaello. The sanctuary, enriched subsequently from it frescoes of Eugenio Allori, it has been guarded until the century slid from romiti (hermits) that they dressed the sacred dress. In 1792, some french monks rfeugees from the revolutionary France, they were accommodated in the annexed romitorio and like testimony of their presence and sign of thanks for the received acceptance, they wanted to construct, the road which goes up from the Sanctuary until the village of Capoliveri.
