Between the villages of Chiessi and Pomonte, at 435 meters over
the sea level, to the slopes of the Mount Capanne, the system of
the ancient church can be still recognized, of which remain little
squared rough drafts of stones, and it leave a part of the wall
of the left flank. The building would seem to have been to rectangular
plant, since you do not acknowledge the apse traces. The construction
technique, for that it can be distinguished, it would be similar
to that one of the other Romanesque churches on Elba island.
