The museum is accommodated in the spaces of the fortress of
the Medici at the Linguella and one finds there: amphoras
of the archaic period, anchors and naval equipments from ship wrecks,
founds of recovered Roman age which were excavated in the mansions
of Linguella, Le Grotte and Capo Pero. Particularly interesting
is the granite altar of the Attiano of the IInd century before Christ.
