La
Biodola: From Portoferraio, on half road from Procchio, on
the right cannot not be noticed one of the more fascinating gulfs
of Elba. Turn right and follow the street until you reach at the beach
of La Biodola. About 600 meters of fine sand, mediterranean spot that
arrives until the sea beautifulst hotels and a camping next to the
beach, water that rises sweetly allowing to make walks in the water.
The beach is connected with a passage on the rocks to the next beach Scaglieri, much similar one in the characteristics. Numerous bars and restaurants on disposition, the beach in some points is classified with chartering sdraio/ombrelloni and pedalò. It’s possible to practice, nautical ski, immersions, surf. In August for the greater tourist presence it’s not rare to be forced to park the car along the roadside (purposely increased in various points), to some hundred of meters of distance from the beach. Attention please, do not invade the passage! There is however the possibility to make a short stop to two steps from the beach in order to unload friends and "beachtools". The locality is served several times daily of minibus travels with departure from Portoferraio.
