Schiopparello: this elongated more narrowly gravel sand beach is directly opposite from Portoferraio and offers a beautiful view over the bay. Partly grown with Tamarisk trees, here is also in the hot time a shady place.
Take the road from Portoferraio in direction Porto Azzurro, after approx. 6 km turn left in direction Schiopparello, Magazzini, Bagnaia. On the right side of the Bar La Curva a a narrow crushed stone route leads up to the parking directly closed to the beach. At the beach no services are offered, but in the Bar La Curva one can supply oneself with beverages, ice cream and food.
